When Matt and Ian move to NYC and start their new lives following their dreams, I hope they look back at college and remember moments like this. When we dressed up for a 90s party and interpreted it as 1890s. Okay, so we didn’t exactly pull it off but who owns a double breasted frock coat these days? I hung out with these two my entire freshman year and did awesome things like this. I’m having difficulty imagining 8th Floor Improv without them, but even more difficulty imagining not seeing them whenever I want. I hope for the best in NYC. I hope they succeed in everything they want to do and make it big. Represent 8th Floor Improv with all the enthusiasm they’ve always had, and continue crashing themed parties. Good luck guys, we’ll miss you.

I’m at the Thompson library, studying for my midterm, and there’s a man in here that is completely lost. He’s sitting at a study table, intently focused on his calculus book… decked out from head to toe in Wolverine clothing! Now, I’m not usually a big promoter of rivalry, but this is clearly my call to duty to support my university! I will not stand for such treason!

Pssssst! Psssst! Hey! Hey you! Guy decked out in Michigan gear! What do you think you’re doing here?!

He’s ignoring me. I’ve got to move closer so he can hear me. I’ll move to the table next to him.

Maybe he can’t hear me since I’m whispering…I’ll try snapping my fingers a few times, get his attention.

He glanced up quickly and then looked back at his book. Ooh I bet he’s nervous. And why shouldn’t he be? Supporting the Wolverines while surrounded by crazy nuts…I’d be nervous too.

One time, I put one in my purse and my wallet nearly smashed the nut into pieces.

The Dance

This is a short film I worked on for Campus Moviefest ‘09. It was conceived by myself, my friend Ryan, and my friend Zach. Every single person that worked on this was AMAZING and worked extremely hard on it and I can’t thank people enough for helping out. This is actually the reason I love Columbus and have reservations about moving to LA or New York. I don’t think this would have been made in LA or New York.

The only thing you need to know about this before you watch it is that it was done in one take with two cameras.

Also, don’t expect jokes, because there are none.

Also, YouTube made the quality look all pixelated.

Also, apparently there were three things you needed to know.
